As a 2-term member of the AHC’s Board of Directors and a past member of the Member’s Guild’s Board, Christine brings more than her expertise to this talk, including her appreciation for the luncheon’s extra-special location, on the Boxwood Porch.

Bicyling for Breast Cancer in Woodside, CA – Inspired by a Son and Daughter

This memorial bike ride was the brain child of two children whose mom died of breast cancer last January.¬† An avid rider, they wanted to raise money through one of their mother’s love of cycling.¬†¬† Below is an excerpt of an article that appeared¬† in the newsletter of Tricia’s children.

The Tricia Diller Memorial Bike Ride for Breast Cancer

Tricia was the beloved mother of James (7th grade) and Devon (5th grade) who passed away last January after an
eight year battle with breast cancer.
On Sunday November 14th from 10am-1pm we will be having our first Tricia Diller Memorial Bike Ride for
Breast Cancer. Our goals are to honor Tricia, encourage community participation, have fun and raise money and
awareness about breast cancer. All proceeds will be donated to: Stanford Hospital – Tricia Diller Breast Cancer Research Fund.
